Frequently asked questions
What does self-balancing actually do?
A gyroscopic stability system keeps the seat level when the chair is on a slope or uneven ground — up to 15° on the M4. You don't have to lean or compensate; the chair does it for you.
Can I take it in the car?
Yes. The M4 folds into three pieces and is the most compact self-balancing wheelchair on the UK market, so it fits in a standard car boot.
How does the height-adjustable seat help?
The seat raises from 347 mm to 650 mm. That means eye-level conversations, easier kitchen and bathroom use, and reaching higher shelves without standing.
Is it water resistant?
The M4 is IPX4 rated — safe in light rain. We still recommend keeping it dry where possible to protect the battery and electronics.
