Sable Motion Ltd ("we", "us") is the data controller for personal information collected through sablemotion.com. We are a UK-based bespoke mobility and robotics retailer. What we collect

• Contact details you submit via enquiry, quote or checkout forms (name, email, phone, address).
• Order and payment confirmation data (we do not store full card details — payments are handled by Stripe).
• VAT-relief eligibility declarations where you choose to claim relief under HMRC 701/7.
• Basic analytics (pages visited, referrer, device) to improve the site.

How we use it

• To respond to your enquiry, fulfil your order and provide after-sales support.
• To send transactional emails (order confirmation, dispatch, balance reminders).
• To comply with HMRC, accounting and consumer-law obligations.
• To improve our website and product range.

We do not sell your personal data and we do not send marketing without consent.

Who we share it with

Limited processors who help us run the business: Stripe (payments), Resend (transactional email), Supabase (database hosting in the EU), our UK courier partners, and HMRC where legally required. All processors are bound by data-processing agreements.

How long we keep it

Order and tax records: 6 years (UK statutory retention). Enquiry messages: up to 24 months. You can request earlier deletion at any time.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete or port your data, and to object to or restrict processing. Email sales@sablemotion.com and we will respond within one month. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
